What our vetting looks like
Before any capital is deployed, every opportunity passes through a structured review: financial underwriting, asset and sponsor verification, legal structure review, and an independent Shariah compliance check. Baraka's investment team conducts diligence; opportunities that fail any criterion are declined regardless of projected returns.
- 01Financial merit and cash-flow analysis
- 02Shariah structure review (Musharakah / Mudarabah)
- 03Sponsor background and asset backing verification

Fund Allocation
Grow your business with aligned capital.
Baraka partners with entrepreneurs, operators, and real estate sponsors seeking halal growth capital. No interest, no equity loss — just transparent profit-sharing with a team that shares your values.
A Real Partner, Not a Platform
Baraka isn't a listing service. We review every application directly, conduct our own diligence, and allocate capital from our fund. If we invest, we're invested — in every sense.
Halal Structure, Clean Terms
All funding is structured through Musharakah or Mudarabah — no interest, no hidden fees, no equity dilution. Terms are transparent from the first conversation.
A Community Behind You
Our investor network is made up of values-aligned individuals who want the businesses they back to succeed. That alignment creates relationships, not just transactions.

Common investor questions.
Clear answers on the fund, returns, risk, liquidity, and compliance.
How does investing with Baraka work?
Create an account, complete our investor onboarding, and commit capital to the Baraka Fund. From there, our team handles sourcing, vetting, and deploying capital into Shariah-compliant opportunities. You track fund performance and receive distributions directly from your dashboard — no deal-by-deal decisions required.
What does the fund invest in?
Baraka deploys capital into real estate, private businesses, and asset-backed ventures. Every opportunity is screened for both financial strength and halal compliance before capital is allocated. You can see our current portfolio holdings on the site at any time.
How are returns generated and distributed?
Returns come from the real-world performance of fund holdings — rental income, business revenue, and asset appreciation depending on the deal. Profits are distributed to investors through transparent profit-sharing structures on a schedule disclosed at the time of your investment. There are no interest payments — only shared upside.
What risks should I expect?
All investments carry risk. The most common risks in a fund like Baraka include project delays, slower-than-projected revenue, and in rare cases partial loss of capital. We mitigate this through rigorous upfront screening, asset backing, and portfolio diversification — so no single deal determines your outcome. Full risk disclosures are provided during onboarding.
How liquid is my investment?
The Baraka Fund is designed for medium to long-term investors and should be considered illiquid for the duration of the fund cycle. We do not currently offer a secondary market or early redemption. You should only invest capital you won't need access to in the near term. Fund timeline and terms are disclosed clearly before you commit.
How is Shariah and ethical compliance addressed?
Every investment Baraka makes is reviewed for Shariah compliance before capital is deployed. This means no interest-bearing debt, no prohibited industries, and structuring through recognized Islamic finance contracts — primarily Musharakah (shared ownership) and Mudarabah (profit-sharing partnership). We decline opportunities that don't meet our ethical threshold regardless of their financial returns.
What is the minimum investment?
Minimum investment amounts are disclosed during onboarding and may vary depending on investor type and fund availability. If you're unsure whether you qualify, join the waitlist and we'll reach out with details when the fund opens.
Who manages the fund and makes investment decisions?
Baraka's team sources, screens, and allocates all capital. Founders and operators apply directly to Baraka for funding — we review each opportunity against our financial and ethical criteria before deploying from the fund. Investors don't evaluate individual deals; that's our job.
How do founders access capital from the fund?
Founders and operators apply through our founder portal with basic business information, capital needs, and financials. Baraka reviews each application and, if approved, allocates capital from the fund directly. There's no public listing, no investor pitching — just a straightforward application and review process.
Is this the same as a crowdfunding platform?
No. Baraka is a managed fund, not a crowdfunding platform. You invest in the fund as a whole — Baraka then deploys that capital into a diversified portfolio of vetted opportunities. You get professional management, built-in diversification, and a single clean investment structure rather than evaluating deals one by one.
